Most Basel households need a few reliable scenes, not a dozen phone presets. We map ambient, task, and accent onto dimmers and switches that local electricians can install with stock they already know.
Kelvin and mood by scene
Scenes often hold warm ambient while task shifts cooler for work, then both drop for late reading:

Dinner, clean, read
Dinner keeps ambient mid and task low on the table zone. Cleaning raises ambient and task together. Late reading leaves a warm corner on while the rest of the flat rests. Circuit notes show which loads share a dimmer.
Hardware that fits Swiss flats
We recommend control hardware compatible with typical Basel electrical practice. Retrofit dimmers on existing loops are preferred when walls cannot take new bus systems. Smart modules appear only when the household already commits to them.
Handover maps
Families get a short switch map — often in German and English — so guests know which paddle is evening base versus cleaning boost. Scene names stay plain: Evening, Clean, Read.
