We process data under Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) rules for a design studio serving clients in Basel and elsewhere in Switzerland.

Data we receive

Email or contact-form messages may include your name, email, and room notes or photos you choose to share. Phone calls may leave a number and a short description of lighting needs.

The site stores a local preference under brightcompanions_basel_light_pref (LIGHT_PREF) when you accept or decline the banner. That value stays in your browser and is not sent to advertising networks.

Purpose and legal bases

We use enquiry details to reply, schedule visits, prepare CHF estimates, and deliver commissioned design work. We do not sell contact lists or publish client interiors without written permission.

Bases include steps prior to a contract, performance of a design agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to published studio addresses.

Retention and access

Enquiry emails without a project are kept up to twenty-four months, then deleted unless Swiss bookkeeping requires longer storage of invoices. Active project records stay for the work period plus warranty and accounting needs. Access is limited to Lena Meier, Tomas Berger, and contracted assistants under confidentiality.
